hitler was an exslet person with progoganda. hitler was one of the best public speakers i have ever studyed. even though he was not a very good guy i respect his for this.  he used his abiltiy of speach to gain suport from the german people.  he could talk up the people of his courntry germany.  and he could talk down the other countrys.  he convise the people of his courntuy they were going into the third reich.  that they would be supreme over everyone else. once he had gain enough suprot he was able to influsens the radios and school to "brainwash" everyone else into suporting his cause. 

like i said before i do respect hitler. he was  a very bad guy but i can still respect his for his accoplishments.  i really don't want it to sound as his i suport his actions but if a boy that was not even in his time period found his speaches inspireing i do not blame the germans for following him so blindly.  also they were at a time of insecurity and they needed a leader to follow.  that is why his progogana was so effective.

it has only goten worse just two posts ago i was living fine but now i am living in a totalitartian state.  a one party dicatorship in in control of everything here in russia. stalins secret police are terrofying everyone.  they us censorship violetn purges and they open private letters or even go as far as to plant listning decives.  where ever i go i seam to see progoganada every where.  i even hear the propoganda on the radios and loudspeakers. i am really wishing i had not come.

in movies, theaters, and even in schools they try to teach how good communistions is and howw bad capitalism is.  they have posters urging workers to increase production.  i have to constantly watch what i say for fear of someone over hearing my complaints.  they would throw me into a consentration camp where i would surly die.  every thing has changed for the worse and i do not like it. 

section 1 postcard home

i love russia during the spring. there is all this snow and it is very cold.  i got to meat a whole bunch of landowing nobles, priests, and to my great suprise i even got to meat the all mighty czar.  these people are the really important people in mother russia.  while i meat many high level people there where many lower class i spyed from my window in the castle.  they lived in such poor conditons.

today is march 1917 and i got to see the first of two revolutions that would topple the Romanov dynasty and pave the ways for even more radical changes.  i keep hearing about the horable battlefield that has caused my confortable home to go away.  conditions have casue the monaky to colaples and i have to sleep on the street.

here in russia i have been living under stalins 5 year plan for a while and i will exspain what is supposed to happen.  it is suposed to build heavy industry.  he claimed he could imporve transportation.  and he also wanted to increase farm production to have more food. he brang all economix activity under government control.

i have noticed that governement officials are the ones in charge of any economic devisions.  i think they call it command economy.  the government now olned all the businesses in russia after the five year plan.  the governemtn whould give bounouses to anyone who help reach the five year goal and punished any who stood in its way of progress.  i noticed many more large factorys huge industrila complezes and hydroelectris power station since the five year plan came into being.  many rail roads  have coome up which helps with my travel around the country.
