section 1 postcard home

i love russia during the spring. there is all this snow and it is very cold.  i got to meat a whole bunch of landowing nobles, priests, and to my great suprise i even got to meat the all mighty czar.  these people are the really important people in mother russia.  while i meat many high level people there where many lower class i spyed from my window in the castle.  they lived in such poor conditons.

today is march 1917 and i got to see the first of two revolutions that would topple the Romanov dynasty and pave the ways for even more radical changes.  i keep hearing about the horable battlefield that has caused my confortable home to go away.  conditions have casue the monaky to colaples and i have to sleep on the street.

    I would have liked to see pictures from the actual time period for this entry. Continuity check: if you writing a letter in March 1917, how would you know it was the first of two revolutions? No points off for that, but keep that in mind if you write another "letter home" in the future.
